MENDRISIO, Switzerland (AP) — Romain Sicard has won the men’s under-23 race at the road cycling world championships.
The 21-year-old Frenchman timed 4 hours, 41 minutes, 53 seconds, crossing the finish line 28 seconds ahead of the field and confirming the potential he showed when winning the Tour de l’Avenir for young riders this month.
